Patricia Gardner is a high priestess of the Coven "The Dragon Warriors of ISIS" and a follower on demonology. who does not like eating geneticly modified food

this hoax is about the popular fast food restaurant Kentucky Fried Chicken. Not to long ago there was a rumor going around that the reason that they changed their name to Kentucky Friend Chicken to KFC was because the meat they used could not legally be called chicken. the rumors started to fly that the "chicken" was actually genetically manipulated organisms and that these are kept alive by inserting tubes that pump blood and nutrients through the "animal". these chickens have no beaks, feathers, or legs and help cut costs of the company. this departure from real chicken is what caused the federal government to require the fast food restaurant to change it's name so that the word chicken is not listed anywhere.

those damn meteroites

An article from Foxnews.com covered the collision of a "meteorite" with the Peruvian landscape. The locals noted that there was a large hole in the ground filled with boiling liquid. This site was also said to be giving off a noxious gas that was causing the locals to become sick. some of the symptoms were nausea, head aches, and a sore throat. The article goes on to make connections of popular science fiction book "Andromeda Strain" which is about a similar type of event where an asteroid crashes into Earth and brings with it a deadly disease.
Local officials have made reports that as many as 600 locals have come down with this mysterious disease. after some doctors examined the "crash site" they decided that the area was not contaminated by some foreign virus but rather by some hydrothermal activity that was previously dormant under the Earth's crust. This was later conformed by geologists that found arsenic in the ground that probably contaminated the drinking water and gave off the noxious fumes.
This article then goes into detail about how people are affected by mass hysteria and why it happens. when people are scared by something, in this case a meteor, they make up stories to comprehend them and then others rationalize and follow suit. this is what happened in Peru and why so many people were infected with the "mysterious disease".
